Candle Care

There are a few things you can do to ensure you get the best from your candle...

  • Before you light your candle, trim your wick to 5mm.
  • When you light your candle let it burn for long enough for the melted wax to reach the edges of the jar. This will prevent your candle from burning a tunnel down the center of the wax.
  • Trim your wick to 5mm between each burn. If you don't do this, you may notice the candle flame is weak and preventing your candle from burning optimally.
  • Let your candle cool completely before relighting.
  • Store your candle with its lid on to prevent dust build up and away from direct sunlight to prevent your candle from sweating.

It is important to note that our candles are designed to burn slowly so that you get to enjoy our glorious fragrance blends for as long as possible. Because of this you may notice some wax clinging to the walls of the jar during the first half of the candle's life. As the candle burns down the flame will burn hotter due to more heat being trapped in the jar, this will cause any cling-on wax to slide down the walls of the jar to be consumed by the flame.
